This statement must be publicly available on their websites and provide clear information on the accessibility status of their digital services, such as whether they meet the required standards or outline existing accessibility issues. The statement should also detail the measures taken to improve accessibility, including any ongoing efforts or plans for remediation. Additionally, the accessibility statement must specify how users can report accessibility problems and request assistance, ensuring that organizations remain accountable and transparent in their commitment to accessible digital experiences.
If users encounter accessibility barriers or wish to submit a complaint regarding non-compliance, they may contact the competent authority, the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC). Complaints can be submitted via:

Regulation bodies
The regulation is enforced by several designated market surveillance authorities, each responsible for specific sectors. The National Authority for Consumer Protection oversees most products and certain services, ensuring compliance with key accessibility provisions. The Ministry of Economy regulates industrial and specific service sectors, while the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications supervises electronic communications services. The Authority for the Digitalization of Romania governs digital and IT services, and the National Audiovisual Council oversees audiovisual services. Additionally, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure regulates transport-related services. The Competition Council is responsible for overseeing cases where accessibility requirements intersect with market competition, such as when companies may gain or restrict access to the market based on compliance. This role ensures that accessibility is not used to unfairly distort competition and that equal market conditions are maintained.
